FACULTY & ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIPS

The Office of Residential Life plays an essential role in providing support for our students in the context of their learning experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom.  To accomplish this, we create enriching learning environments by partnering with students, staff, and faculty to achieve the university's Learning Goals.  We facilitate faculty involvement within our residential facilities through our support of academic and experiential learning activities and by providing residential spaces for academic programs, services, and studying.  We strive to fully embrace our Mission StatementCelebration Statement, and the Office of Student Affairs' Mission.

Faculty Involvement

The development of authentic and mutually beneficial relationships is a direct result of faculty interaction with students outside of the classroom.  A number of research studies show that increased faculty interaction outside of the classroom correlates to enhanced learning, increased social and intellectual development, and student retention.
